Better than old app, but needs to be simplified – WeightWatchers Program Review

UPDATED TO ADD: the barcode scanner does not work 75% of the time. So while there's still a huge database of food, I can't really access it using what should be the coolest features of the app. Much better than the old app I had a couple of years ago. But it is still clunky and has an awkward layout. The home page ("My Day") could be a lot more streamlined. I don't need to see the list of stuff I've eaten today--that should be on a drop-down menu. All I really need to see is a few things already on there: how many points I've used, how many are left today, how many extra left in the week. That, then the simple track button. Simplify. Everything else can be tucked away in drop down menus or accessed somewhere else. I don't need a search bar. I just want my home page to be a quick, UNCLUTTERED way to read that basic info. It would be even better if I could customize what's on that home page, much like the Fitbit app (which I really like). Things I do like: --Quick access to barcode scanner (although it doesn't work most of the time) --The "track" button--leads right to six different options (favorites, my foods, etc). --search function that searches everything (foods, activities)--although it's unnecessary to have this on the home page Also the connect feature is lame. If I had the ability to customize my home page I'd definitely take that off. Again, it's still better than the old app, but it could be simplified.
