Fun with unique mechanics – Cardstone Review

Addicting roguelike/deck-balancing game. Gameplay is simple but satisfying and not without depth. Some suggestions to make it even better: •More cards - it'll take a while to unlock all the cards (unless you spend real money) but most of them are the same cards with increased stats and can be fairly dull. There's a lot of potential for more cards, eg cards that require perfect timing, cards that alter the playfield, cards that affect loot, cards that affect draw placement or frequency... the possibilities are endless and the scrolling deck mechanic could give rise to a lot of unique abilities not seen in other TCGs. •Practice Mode - while the random loot and improvised deck building is essential to the game, it'd be nice to have a mode where you can try out different builds and card combinations without having to waste your time getting to tough enemies/dying immediately in the dungeon. •Multiplayer - let us play against friends! This is a no-brainer. (Just don't make it pay-to-win.)
