Good concept, poor execution – Shades: A Simple Puzzle Game FREE Review

When I first started playing this game I thought it was really unique and interesting - it's almost like a 2048 mixed with Tetris. However, once you make one or two mistakes, they're almost impossible to recover from. And the game just keeps getting faster, so anything you do after your mistake is pretty much hopeless. Or, if the board is half full (half empty? ?) you might as well restart because you're probably not going to do much better from there. Overall: good concept, though game play could be more fun.
