Costs Slow City Growth – Village City Island Simulation Review

As avid fan of city builder games since the original Sim City in the 90s, this game got my attention with its strong graphics (especially the decoration...kudos!), familiar game play, and a $2M starting bank. But once that was gone, play slowed dramatically. I'm not against spending real money occasionally to buy gamecash, but It seems excessive having to collect profit 8-10 times from each building you build before accumulating enough money to upgrade that building one level and add a small number of jobs and profit. The city island series, for example, run at half that rate, and are just as interesting to play.
