Online multiplayer option doesn't work – 4 in a Row Multiplayer Online - 2 player free deluxe board game play with friends Review

I'm trying to play the game on my iPhone against my daughter on her iPod, via the iOS Game Center. I send her an invitation to connect, she clicks on it and I receive a notification that she cancelled my invitation. She then tries sending me an invite. I click on it, on my phone, to accept; but she receives a notification that I rejected her invitation.
