Beware – DAT Mastery Review

I was highly disappointed with this app and expected more when dealing with something as significant as the DAT. Here are somethings I noticed. Pros: •They have good helpful tips on studying and mnemonics. •I liked how they had a section just for terminology. •The explanations to the answers or concepts gives you enough detail to understand why that is. Cons: •Organic chemistry section, I feel, I not an accurate representation of the actual DAT. •PAT section is a bit of a hassle having to open up every image separately from the question, then closing it before choosing an answer. •Beware! I have noticed one too many errors in their questions, answers, and explanations. E.g. The correct answer THEY mark is completely incorrect; the explanation is not accurate and/or false. The last reason stated above has been the most concerning and why I only give it two stars. I have emailed them multiple times for every mistake I've encountered and have not seen any of the issues addressed. Maybe with a future update they will fix all that. This is supposed to be a study material for a professional exam, and since you pay for the full version, it better have correct information; which is questionable. I recommend that you spend your $20 somewhere else. There are various online resources you can use for tips and mnemonics, some are free. Otherwise, just be aware with questions and you really have to know your stuff beforehand so that incorrect info doesn't sneak up on you. The way I use this app now is just as extra practice to fill in time when I'm waiting in line, in the car, in between commercials. But I would not use this as a main source of learning the subject matter.
