Waste of time, and waste of space on your phone – Gigwalk Review

Gig walk is a joke and a waste of time. I've had the app installed on my phone since 2013, and I have completed one shift for a payout of five dollars. The first shift I completed three years ago, I didn't really understand, and I had to go back and redo some of the aspects of the gig – which I did. I did eventually complete the gig successfully, but my inexperience apparently hurt me in successfully applying for future gigs. Since 2013 I have been a full-time RVer, and this summer I applied for several gigs as I was approaching certain towns. I ended up withdrawing from the gigs because after three or four hours (even though the instructions state that you will hear back within one hour) I would not hear back that I was accepted (or even denied), so I was forced to withdraw, having left the town. I contacted support to talk about my issue and being accepted, and to make sure that withdrawing was not negatively affecting me. They said that my profile was fine but that I should not apply for gigs and less I was within 50 miles. This doesn't really work for me, but in the winter time I sit still for six months or so – so I decided to try Gigwalk again. I will apply for a gig, get denied the next day, and the gig will reappear again. I've applied for the same gigs over and over again in the hopes that they will just get tired of me applying, accept me, and give me a chance to prove that I finally know what I'm doing. I use the easy shift app for 90% of my gigs, and I'm also a Field Agent. With easy shift, I'm a general manager and I can do up to 10 shift set a time. I've made over $7,000 since early 2015 with easy shift alone. Gig walk is just not worth the time and effort. I can actually be at a store were a gig is posted, and not be chosen- Yet I have no issues with any of the other apps that I use. I think that gig walk is a proprietary app that has a core group of giggers that they use but they are required to "open" jobs to everyone. I don't think most of us got in on the ground floor early enough.
