App is worthless now, but it's not the developer's fault – YouPlayer - Video Player for YouTube Review

Everyone please take a moment and read the update page. It states that 'Google' requested that the developer remove the background playback because it competes with a Google Now feature. Honestly, the background capability was the only reason why this app was useful, now it has no purpose. I now go to YouTube via Safari and play the video in the background that way.
