Output Distorts after update – JamUp Pro Review

First time I've ever had an issue with this app. After installing last update , output is distorted (MP3 playback and guitar output). I'm running this on iPad2 w/iOS 9.2.1. At first I thought it was the MP3 but all other apps (setlist maker for one) are fine. Not sure what's going on here.
