First version bugs, but great app potential – Daniel Tiger's Stop & Go Potty Review

I really, really, really want to give this app a five star review, because my three-year-old loves it, and it's really helping him in his potty training. My frustration with the app is that it keeps crashing, and there's so much "silence" in the app, that it feels like a mistake. (For example, instead of background music or instruction while you're waiting for a child to decide on an activity area, the characters just stare at you. In the "videos" section, there's no background music or instruction at all.) When you're helping Katerina or Daniel on the potty, you can throw toilet paper on the floor, and while helping them wash their hands, there's no prompt to turn off the water, so you can just let it run and run. (My son is currently in "stinker mode," so he loves to tell me he's done both of these things.) The characters take a while to signal their need for the potty, and often my son is bored with the game before that happens, so a bit of the "lesson" is lost. Currently his favorite thing to do is help change Baby Margaret's diaper. As others have noted, the very first time I open the app on any given day, it only shows the PBS Kids logo for a very long time. A couple of times I've had to close the app and reopen it in order to get anything to happen. The loading part takes forever. This app has great potential, and I'd love to see it follow along the lines of "Day and Night," and "Grr-ific Feelings," both of which my son loves, and are fantastic apps. I hope they'll fix these issues going forward - The idea behind it is fantastic!
