Yes, this will mask your number... You'll be able to send and receive messages and calls just fine but whenever I receive a text - it doubles and sometimes triples the message for whatever reason (and counts against the amount of texts I have left from my purchase). Also, if you miss a call- there is no option for the caller to be able to leave a VM. I won't be purchasing again for these reasons. I left the above review for this app back when it was called "masked call" (which I originally rated a 3 star). A week later I clicked on the update button and it changed the name to "snap call". When I tried to log in (since I had more time and texts and calls to use) the app didn't recognize my log in info and I had to create a new password- after the 5th attempt I was able to access my account. I received a notification on my phone that I had received a missed call from a number I didn't recognize. When I entered into the app to return the phone call, it was not logged in the call log. So, in order to retrieve the number, I went back to my notifications list in my iPhone only to find the missed call notification (and number) was not there, only some other old notifications.
