The Good, The Bad, And hmmm I like – Razer Cortex: Deals Review

Quick and simple loading. The sign in was easy too. Once within the app, it is easy to navigate and I like the ability to search for games, add to wish list and then also see which site is selling the game. However, after looking at a game and returning the main screen, it takes you all the way to the top on "Deals of the Day" page, but not on the "All Games" page. I would prefer if it would return to the place you left off. Also, if I was to then purchase the game I must go to the re-sellers site. Which understandable makes sense, but I believe it would be a lot better if there was a way to log into those site through Cortex, and then add the game to the 3rd party's cart through Cortex. This means you will not have to leave the site and be able to continue shoping. Understandably this wouldn't work for all sites, but maybe Amazon and Steam to start. Set up sale alerts, maybe I have't found it yet, but it would be nice if I was able to set up sale alerts for the games I am interested in. Not sure if that is how the wishlist works. Pro's: • Simple UI/UX • Easy Navigation • Quick Login • Game Search on "All Games" page Con's: • Resets scroll placement on "Deals of the Day" page • Must exit the Cortex app to purchase games Recommendation's: • 3rd party store login for instant chart add • Us Force Touch (iOS) for a quick view and add to wish list • Sales Alerts for games that I am interested in. • Game calendar, showing what games are coming up and when they are to be released and pre-sale Overall, great software and I look forward to using it in the future.
