Great game, but I cannot give it a full 5 stars. The story was very interesting, combining history, art and the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci. Settings could be customized. The graphics were beautiful, as the story was set in Florence, Italy, a city that I visited many years ago and loved! There were tons of locations to unlock, and loading was instantaneous between them. You collect coins in order to buy inventory to progress through the game. Also there were other collectibles which gave you more historical facts about da Vinci. The game was lengthy with a long bonus adventure. Hints were not spoilers, and you collect fans for extra hints. There was a terrific secret room, which you need to use in order to finish the game! Inventory was labeled, but no true plus items. The HO scenes were interesting and varied, as were the puzzles/mini-games. You have to collect and assemble map pieces in order to use the teleport map. One of the reasons I deducted a star was that the teleport map did not let you know of an available action; only if the location was complete, which meant it was fairly useless and you had to run around all over Florence! But there were tons of things to do at each location so at least the game did not feel tedious. Another reason that I deducted a star was that at times the grammar was atrocious, you could not create a true profile (I have a name which is not player), and object placement could be a bit glitchy at times. But all in all, the game ran quite smoothly. And always a plus for me, only one small mouse in one of the locations and NO RATS! This game was definitely worth playing, and I would definitely want a sequel, but give us a more helpful teleport map so we know when tasks are available and don't waste time. However, all in all a fantastic game, BigFish and ERS! Big shout out to the Dream Team Elite! Glad to have you back, Blueflier! Once again, Kim Twilight, your review is nonpareil!
