Lost all of my saved progress! – Costume Quest Review

I have played this game for hours with my son, and we were having a great time. This morning, however, we opened it up to discover that all of our saved progress has been lost. We are both extremely disappointed, to say the least. We do not want to start all over, especially without the reassurance that this won't just happen again, and hours of progress won't be wasted. Please fix this. This is sad and frustrating.
