Interface & Workflow Issues – Reflection for UNIX SSH Client Review

A terminal program is what it is and can only differentiate itself from others by the ease in which it helps the user establish, maintain and manipulate the terminal session. This app has a very odd and semi-working method for storing usernames and passwords that is difficult at best to use but also insecure. The app does not store the username and or passwords in the system keychain which is an encrypted vault but rather stores it in its app’s data space. This means that it can more easily be accessed if running on a Jail Broken iPad or iPhone and from the user’s perspective, the username and password you store on your iPhone is not available on your iPad via keychain sync.
