Good game that actually feels like it is meant for mobile – Headshot Heroes Review

I am enjoying this game, and it feels like a good fit for a mobile game. I am generally pretty harsh in my criticisms of mobile games, but this manages to avoid/solve the primary problems most games have: Ability to put down at a moment's notice: While Headshot Heroes is technically a real time game (as opposed to turn based), it is real time for very short periods of play. The timer stops after every goal, providing great natural pause points. Touch controls are inherently imprecise and your hand is inevitably going to cover a significant portion of the screen: The controls in this game are extremely basic and there is a large allowed margin of error. Controls are simply pass/shoot right or left, and the control region for each action is half of the screen. Unless you're using a single finger and tapping near the middle of the screen you are very unlikely to fat finger the wrong action. Additionally, all of the necessary information is displayed on the top half of the screen, so even if your fingers obscure the entire bottom half, they won't be blocking important information. Lastly, this is an actually enjoyable game that provides a decent amount of challenge. Progression is relevant here, as purchasing the later teams increases the total time available, allowing you to progress further, but doesn't actually make the game easier. In all, this is one of the few mobile games that I would actually recommend. It seems like it was actually designed as a good mobile game, not a bad port of a PC or console game.
