Deceptive pricing – GPS TRACKER:Real-time tracking Review

The program works as described. What they don't tell you is, after you download the free version and then you invite your friend or spouse to join so you can track one another's travel, that person will receive a link where it will cost $3.99 for the app. So I suggest you don't send the invite via the app until *after* your partner has downloaded the free version from the App Store. Then you can send the invite that gives them your permission to track you. As others have noted, the app eats battery, but that is unavoidable for this type of app. Not a problem if you are using your car's electric plug. Also good to know that when you quit the app (not just background it), you are no longer tracked. I wouldn't have minded paying $3.99 so my wife could track my cross-country drive, but I don't like the fact that I was tricked into inviting her into buying an app that I thought was free. It leaves a bad taste, so I certainly will not be paying them for the upgraded version, despite it being a pretty good app.
