Works well, but after in-app upgrade still has ads – My Bracket: Tournament Maker Review

I downloaded the free version of this app and was pleased with the GUI, but I needed more slots in my bracket so I did the in-app purchase ($1.99) to get it. However, although it did give me full brackets, this did not remove ads as promised. I would appreciate a fix for this ASAP.
