Very high quality game – Space Borders: Alien Encounter Review

This is a phenomenal space strategy game. It's the only one of its kind on the AppStore with this perfect feel. I've played it since its first release and it's only gotten better since! The dev clearly loves what he does and works closely with the players on the forums to make improvements. The new update is amazing. The graphics from ship models to explosions have improved. Your purchased turrets for the Odysseus have been removed but you receive adequate compensation to be able to buy them back. The campaign's tutorial has been changed to be better overall and also ties itself into the story. The added end mission map after the last mission is a very nice touch with a good transition into Conquest Mode. The alien opponents have also been improved to make for a more worthy enemy. The sandbox mode is a delightful addition to the game as well. There are also a couple "hidden" treats for the player if he is clever/lucky enough to find them throughout the campaign. My only complaint would be the unreasonably high cost of the strongest EDF ship in the game, the Behemoth. This game and its developer truly deserves more than it has been getting on the App Store. Perhaps a multiplayer mode would help? (hint hint).
