Excellent, but... – Blockwick 2 Review

The puzzles are well thought out. The game starts with a reasonable level of difficulty and ramps up well and steadily from there. It's polished and smooth... But oh, my, the crashes. I think it may be the way it integrates with Game Center, since most of the crashes are on startup or just when you finish a level — and that, you see, is the problem, and why I gave an otherwise great game only three stars: there's nothing so disappointing as spending twenty minutes solving a really hard one, finally moving that last block into place — and then the game crashes and you have to start the level over, your effort forever lost. When it works, it's a delight. When it dies, you die a little inside with it. If they fix the crashes, I can easily justify five stars and the game's small price tag, but as it is, I can't give it more than three stars and say, "caveat emptor," and be prepared to be frustrated.
