Painfully slow animations – Dustland Review

This could have been a worthy successor to Puzzle and Dragons, but for flow-breaking animations. When you make a match, it feels like it takes 10 seconds before you can make another match because hey, let's oh so slowly animate the tiles turning into particles, then -- hey, are you paying attention? -- wiggle the particles up to the characters they affect, then carefully increment the numbers, finally move the tiles down over the recently vacated holes and maybe repeat all this all over again. It's tedious and weird.
