App just disappeared – The Recipe Box To Go Review

I updated my favorite app The Recipe Box the other day. A couple days later went to get a recipe to find my app had disappeared off my device. Even though the app appears in my purchased section, it doesn't give me the option to download again. I'm pretty sure I have backed up my recipes but I am unable to retrieve them because I am unable to get download my app again. I have tried contacting the app company several times but have received no help. I have also spent over 8 hours on the phone with the App Store. I just want to get my recipes back I have spent hours entering them. :(
