Brilliant but still needs work – Beam Review

I have been a dedicated Beam fan from its introduction to UAE, where I started using it with CircleK and Tim Hortons a couple years ago. The UI has improved greatly since then, it truly is a well built app, and not to mention the introduction of the hardware at stores is amazing along with Carrefour (MAF) as a partner. Good job guys. My two biggest complaints is: 1) it doesn't always work, 2 out of 5 times it fails and takes too long and I default to cash or my credit card, defeating the purpose of beam. I once sat with the cashier for about 15 minutes trying to get Beam to work. The problem they faced was that they needed to reset the wifi on their iPod. So the the main issue is the vendor app and/or the network/wifi for both sides. You guys should find some way to make the vendor side very stable 2) No easy way to see where my credit is. Currently the only way I can see my credit is by scrolling through the entire list of stores and seeing which ones show my credit. Yes this is still quite good, but I sometimes want to go to stores where i have credit for. Please add a “Credits” page or something.
