Far Too Easy – Stellar Trek Review

As others have mentioned, Stellar Trek is based on a series of games that originated in the early 1970s. This is a decent implementation but is far too easy; indeed, it is quite difficult to lose. The appeal of the earlier games was that there were several levels of difficulty: the lowest level was as gentle as Stellar Trek and the highest level was very hard to win. Without increasing difficulty levels, Stellar Trek will quickly become boring. There is no reason to bother 'upgrading' a ship in Stellar Trek in its current implementation. Fix this problem and Stellar Trek will be far more appealing!
