Mystery Tales: Twilight World by LynxMinx – Mystery Tales: The Twilight World HD - A Hidden Object Adventure Review

Not my review yet! Darling Opinion, what do you mean about Churchill Downs? Do they now own BigFish, because it seems like we are not getting the quantity/quality we used to get, although Sable Maze was gorgeous! Did you really say do a little meth, lol!? Yet Dracyy as usual rated this 5 stars so we need some sort of consensus. I hope some other Dream Team Elite members play so I can get a better feeling for what's going on and maybe talk to some higher-ups at BigFish! We need EIPIX and Mad Head in the worst way! I cannot review this game yet because I had to delete it due to a tiny little glitch, losing an inventory item (a locomotive, anybody, sound familiar) as if by magic. So I am reinstalling the game and hopefully I will be able to complete it and give you all a thorough review like you deserve. But make no mistake about it! I am royally irate! Finally able to play. This company, Domini, with whom I'm not familiar, did an update quickly and I was able to reinstall and play and finish the game. It was a decent game. It was quite lengthy and also had a decently long bonus adventure. The update fixed the tap sensitivity issues to a large degree. The graphics were good, the cut-scenes were interesting, and there were many locations to unlock because you visit them in the normal world as well as the twilight world. There was a non-spoiler hint system and strategy guide. To travel between the worlds you must find crystals for a magic orb which acts as a portal between the two worlds. You also get a magic box, and as you remove curses from the townspeople you receive magical objects to use as you progress through the game. So those two things alone made the game interesting and different. Inventory was labeled, and there were plus items, which I love. On the negative side, lots of collectibles (cats, bunnies and postcards) which were just a distraction. There was an excellent teleport map with active tasks, which you definitely needed, so no useless running around. The HO scenes were very varied, so many different things, such as lists, using an object to unlock another, putting things into a scene, finding pairs and some other unusual ones too. There were a ton of puzzles and mini-games. Some were simplistic and boring, others were fun, and some made no sense even with instructions. But there were many and I tried not to skip them! Even the rotational ones, because eventually you improve at even things you don't like and you give your brain a decent workout! There was a lot to do in this game, like removing the cursed spells and making potions. I cannot in all fairness rate this at 5 stars because I had to reinstall it and start over. In addition, loading was not instantaneous between locations. But all in all it was a good game and a bit different and fun. And not a rodent in sight to spoil it! So I would definitely like a sequel if they gave us instantaneous load time and no glitches. Dream Team Elite, you really should play. This was a bit different from the norm and it was not overly dreary! Lynxie sends ❤️?❤️?!
