db Meter does not work – Audio Tool Review

Just downloaded Audio Tool app to iPhone 5 running iOS 9.0.2. Spent better part of an hour trying to get it to work. Dead as a door nail, meter wouldn't budge no matter how loud the noise. And yes, it does have access to the microphone. Very disappointed, apparently a waste of money in spite of glowing reviews posted by others.
