Awesome but... – Batman Arkham City Lockdown Review

I love this game. I really think it was well put together, and I enjoy it. I beat all of the levels except the Solomen Grundy boss fight. Whenever he's chasing you and he tries to hit you, the game says to swipe to dodge. I did, but Batman didn't. I swiped in all kinds of directions, Batman never moved. I looked up 3 different walkthroughs and they all had these arrows that pointed in different directions that you had to swipe for Batman, for Batman to dodge. But my game doesn't have these arrows. I still swiped in the right direction, but Batman still didn't move! Is my app just glitched? If so then it's been like this for 4 years! Please can someone please try to fix this!!!
