Better monsters than Pokemon, but could use some work – Terra Monsters 2 Review

This game is a lot of fun, the Terra Monsters (as well as their names) are unique, creative, and extremely cool, and on top of that, there are tons of them! Seriously, these are the type of monsters I wish the Pokemon games had. The battle animations however, are quite lackluster and disappointing, and the attack animations do not seem to fit the descriptions. The battle system is a little strange, but it works. I love being able to customize the moves my Terra Monsters can use, but I wish there were an item to reset the moves should I need to. Not being able to cancel a move immediately after can be a little frustrating as well. There are also many spelling errors in the general dialogue, and punctuation that is sometimes there, sometimes not. It's very difficult to speak to NPCs as well, the speak option will appear then suddenly disappear, and I have to maneuver the character a lot to finally speak to them. Walking around in the wild is a bit strange as well, as it's not very clear where you can and cannot go. But having played most of the monster fighting games on the App Store, I can honestly say if the monsters of this game were combined with the battling system and animations of say Micromon, and these problems were fixed then you would have a monster fighter so amazing it could rival Pokemon!
