Best I've seen of this type on the iPad – Beast Quest Review

I'm a little surprised at the lack of reviews on this one, seeing how good it really is. If you liked The Gothic series or Risen on the PC, I think you'll be pleasantly pleased with the way Beast Quest plays. It is similar to those games (of which I consider myself quite a veteran), except that it doesn't have quite as much depth and complexity to it (understandable - it's on an iPad). I'm sure they had to make some tough decisions along the way on just how much they could do with those limitations compared to a PC. Other than the fact that it seems to be geared towards a younger audience than I'd like to see, this game is everything I've been looking for. Don't let any of the negatives scare you away, it's free to try and the pay system is quite fair. $2 (only if you want to) near the beginning buys you 50% more coins and it's well worth it. This is a luscious, beautiful game and if you miss it, well, you're missing one of best of this genre for the iPad. Solid 5 stars. No, I am NOT a shill for the company.
