Can't open the app – Everyday Health: Health News and Medical Information Review

Have registered with an account and copied down the password. A day later they don't work and when I request the email to receive my password it never arrives. I am told my email is invalid however I receive the newsletters. It's frustrating and not something I expected from an Apple app.
