Was Working But Now Error-Riddled – Pixter Scanner OCR Document Review

Got this to scan reading material for my sight-impaired mother. It worked very well in the beginning but just now, it is filled with typos and skips over chunks of texts. I see that it hasn't been updated since Nov. 2014. If this isn't corrected I'll be looking for another app.
