New Look...Same Great Fun!!! – Siege Hero Wizards Review

When I first downloaded Siege Hero: Wizards, I thought it would be a pleasant twist on the solid gameplay and clever puzzles of the original. I was wrong... Wizards is a quality game in itself. It retains the innovative first-person perspective, explosive physics, and comical visuals of the original, but it adds new dimensions with a variety of powerful spells like fire that spreads from one wooden beam to another, a hailstorm, and levitation. One section even includes magic portals reminiscent of Valve's ingenuous inventions. The music is fitting for the theme and the sound effects are a distinctive improvement over the original. While it doesn't feature as many levels outright as the original, Wizards more than makes up for the difference with improvements in gameplay and variety.
