Breaking News is Broken – WISH TV 24-Hour News 8 - Indianapolis News and Weather Review

They push the most pointless and annoying "Breaking News" alerts, a recent example being an IU athlete busted with marijuana. Who the freak cares?!? WISH needs to learn what breaking news actually is: disasters or weather, mass shootings, major accidents / highway closures or shutdown, domestic terror attacks, death of a prominent local person, governor passing/vetoing a big law, etc. The app also crashed when I tried to watch an embedded news video. Until WISH and other journalistic entities can learn and respect Breaking News notifications I will never give more than 2 stars to their app.
