Dev righted their wrong quickly – IdeaPlaces - Maps for Evernote, Dropbox, Photos Review

When I found out my previous IAP turned to nothing, I was angry, not necessarily but rightfully. So I electronically yelled at the dev through iTunes "report a problem". The dev almost immediately sent me an email telling me that my account is now properly registered as VIP. Could have handled the migration better, but I applaud for quick response.
