You have rights when dealing with the police. You have the right to remain silent. You have the right to an attorney. You have a right to record the police, provided your recording does not cause interference with the police performance of their duties. This app is set up so that if you witness police misconduct, you have the ability to report it to the NC chapter of the ACLU. It is an app whose existence is necessary, but I also wish I will never have to use.
