What a Gem – Learn Portuguese by MindSnacks Review

I needed help learning Portuguese and didn't like language learning apps until a friend told me about this one. The first three lessons are free and then you have to pay $4.99 for the 50+ other lessons. What is $5 when computer language programs costs hundreds of dollars? I love that Learn Portuguese has made learning a game that actually teaches you as you play. The games help you learn how to accurately pronounce, spell, and recognize words/grammar. It even teaches you grammar!! I like to break up this app with actually writing the words down to help my brain retain them; I also try not to spend more than an hour or so on it so I actually remember what I learn. If you're looking to learn Portuguese, I'd say give it a shot but also be prepared to be diligent in using it!
