Blow-out function doesn't work on iPhone 6 – Candle - Ultra Real Blow Out Review

I've tried everything. Phone is set to blow out candles. I've blown all over phone & the candles are not affected at all. I must've looked pretty silly to my kids. This app works fine on my old iPod. Any suggestions?
