Disappointing – Dark Parables: Jack and the Sky Kingdom - A Hidden Object Fairy Tale Review

As a hidden object/mystery game aficionado, I have been a loyal customer of Big Fish Games for some time now. I have blindly spent hundreds of dollars for full versions of their apps. While the games do vary in quality, until now they've been invariably above the bar. This game... Well, it's dropped the ball. There was next to no entertainment value re: storyline, the game was painfully easy (I finished in approximately two hours), and the animation and gameplay responsiveness harkened back to the apps they were putting out 4-5 years ago. What happened, guys? I hate saying it, but I sincerely regret shelling out money for this game. I usually pay for BFG apps without a second thought, but this game has convinced me to be more discerning in the future. TL;DR don't consider paying for this one. Don't even bother downloading it. It's REALLY not worth it.
