Beautiful and challenging – Heartbeats - A Galactic Requiem Review

Though it is short (maybe 1 and 1/2 hours for myself), it is certainly worth the time and 99 cents. The art is charismatic and lovely, and it works well as interactive media. If you're a Simogo fan like me, think Sailor's Dream or Device 6 with quirkier art and more difficult puzzles, and more chapter oriented like Device 6. (It is relatively shorter as well, but also cheaper.) If you don't care for puzzles that may get you stuck in one place for a while, it might be challenging for you. For those having trouble starting, realize that to even see the starting menu you must first solve a puzzle. For those with sound issues, there is, unfortunately, no soundtrack, but the developers have compiled playlists or otherwise had others compile them to match the mood. All in all, I'm glad to have spent a dollar for some challenging puzzles and a meaningful narrative, as well as great visuals.
