Awesome Traditional Roguelike, +A few suggestions – Red Wizard Review

I was searching for some Rogue-likes to play on the go, and I came across this little gem. I have only gotten to 310 feet up so far, but I have a rough idea of how the game works and am enjoying it thoroughly. It plays a lot like a traditional Rogue-like, with scrolls, potions, turn-based gameplay, permanent death and such, with a couple unique ideas I haven't seen before. First off, you start 320 feet into the dungeon, and instead of descending, your goal is to get as much treasure as possible before reaching the surface. Another thing is that you can pay coins found in the dungeon to give yourself health, abilities, food, and so on. There are in-app purchases, but it's just $1.99 to remove ads, which is nice. Now for suggestions: First off, why is it called Red Wizard if you can't even be a wizard? Maybe I haven't gone deep enough, but there's a lack of wands and spells. Maybe add more classes, like wizard or huntsman? Secondly, some enemies seem a bit OP. More specifically, mimics and slimes. Slimes reproduce like bunnies, and because there's always a ton of them they chip away my health way too quickly. Mimics are really tough and seem to spawn really early for me, once I started a game and immediately was killed by a Mimic right next to me. Finally, it seems a little weird that you can use coins to make health and torches come out of thin air. Something like using magic/exp points to use manuals and having shops appear frequently around the dungeon to buy the health/supplies/antidotes would make a lot more sense IMO. Even something like altars or fountains to offer the coins into would be nice too. All in all, this is a great, traditional, and fun rogue-like that I would recommend to anybody who loves a good old-fashioned rogue-like they can play on the go. This really is a diamond in the rough of the App Store, and best of luck to the dev/devs on the hopeful continuation of development on this game. Happy dungeon-crawling! :D
