Does not work right – Alarm Clock for Spotify Review

I ran a test alarm twice and neither worked as hoped. The first did nothing but send a lock screen notification. I took the phone off silent and the second try only played the backup alarm noise. The app has you sign into your Spotify account by giving both your user email and password. Shady. I wonder if I've just be had.
