Too inelegant to be top tier – Letters of Boom by Richard Sherman Review

The gameplay on this app feels just a little too... clunky. Or clumsy. Or overcomplicated. The elements just don't seem to fit well together. It's not a bad game by any means, but it lacks an elegance of layout that defines the very best games. The two rows, the zapping oncoming blocks, the rather obtuse scoring - it just doesn't quite gel into a cohesive, intuitive game. This would be a good 99¢ game; at $1.99, it needs refinement.
