Can't get past tutorial – Lightopus (Appxplore) Review

I had this game on my ipad a few years ago and it was a very cute and entertaining game. I went to download it again but it didn't show that I had already done so. So I downloaded this one. It looks the same except that there are very annoying ads on the bottom of the screen and it's impossible to get past the tutorial because the monsters never show up. And there isn't an option to skip the tutorial. Total disappointment.
