Great Backgammon … based on superb desktop version – Absolute Backgammon Review

I’ve tried a whole bunch of backgammon games on the Mac and found Absolute Backgammon to be absolutely wonderful. I’m a fairly experienced player who thought I understood the game pretty well — I’m been playing since the 1970s and have read books on backgammon. I initially thought that AB played an unconventional game but I have to say that after being whipped by it in match play, I learned from it … changed my approach to the game. I can now give it a good match and have applied what I learned to playing with friends to rather nice results :) The iPad version of the game is wonderfully executed, too, with the same brains as the desktop version. And very nice touch-screen playing, once I got the hang of it.
