Ads randomly freeze app – Ventivian Defender FREE - Pixel Steampunk Battles... of DOOM! Review

I know the guy that made this game from a friend so I decided to play it. His name is Chris and the game reminds me of the cheap gamer 'crystal defenders'; however, Game Center ads freezing this game turned me away from the .99$ version as it may have random freezes after I PAY!
