Note: It's a "Freemium" app: $7.99 – The Time Tribe Review

Update: 10/30/14 (a week after my initial review below): The Developer has now buried a "freemium" disclosure way down in the app's description. - - However, the problem remains because players cannot even sample this "Free" game without first coughing up at least $7.99. This remains a deceptive practice because it is still unclear that the game is not free (to even try a sample) until after one downloads it. For a supposed educational game for children, this is particularly egregious and totally unacceptable. By the way, the developers' website online version does not work on an iPad so realistic sample play is not doable. 10/27/14: This might be harsh but I have zero tolerance for games like this one that pose as free on the app store but after downloading, they suddenly require in-app purchases ( and spendy too - $7.99 for a "silver" package) but only after you start to play. Most developers have wised up and at least state somewhere in their app store game description that you must pay to unlock the full version... Anyway, this is a massive deal breaker and the game is now deleted even though it looked promising.
