App loads News 13 Web site – Spectrum News 13 Review

News 13 offers many news stories on a variety of topics. I get much of my local and state news and weather from News 13. I wanted and expected to like the app. Alas, I'm disappointed with the News 13 Plus app. I clicked on all the news stories. Each one loads the News 13 actual web site, ads and all. The text is very small and impossible to read without pinch and zoom in my iPhone. Additionally, the app does not allow for the user to double tap the screen to auto adjust the text. Additionally, the radar weather appears to be a snapshot or screenshot from their web site. The radar is not live. Other local news outlets offer apps with content within the native app and live radar. News 13 needs to transform its news and weather content to work in the native app and not act as a link to its web site. I will check back occasionally for fixes. In the meantime, I'll get my news and weather elsewhere (at lest on my iPhone).
