Very Good – Spirits of Spring Review

Quite a nice gem. I liked the story, but what really got me was the art and the detail, from the hills and the trees, to the way the snow stirred in the air. How they designed the flowers and trees was an interesting choice. I also liked the animations. The music was good, and the narration a nice touch. The gameplay was simple, but still entertaining. The only thing I had issue with was the length. I understand it is an app game, and the ending did feel finished, but anti-climatic. I felt like it had a lot of potential to be much more complex. I suppose I wanted to see something more done with the power of the dark spirits and where that would take the character. Oh well, it's an app game after all.
