Can't get past welcome screen – Unsplurge - save money with a frugal & thrifty lifehacker Review

I would really LIKE to like this app, but unfortunately I'm unable to move beyond the welcome screen that tells me they want to occasionally send me push notifications. Hitting "OK" does nothing and there's no way to take any other action. Even deleting and reinstalling didn't help, so so far this app is useless to me.
