Time Saver, but not perfect – Sparge Pal Review

I have been brewing about 20 years but have only been doing all grain for the last three. The water amounts seem to be in line with my manual calculations, but the strike water temps on this app, like my own calculations, seem to be a bit low. Trying to attain a mash temp of 155 Degrees Fahrenheit resulted in a 143F mash. I had to use corrective actions to adjust the mash temp. This could be due to my particular setup though. I would use it again just for the time savings in water volume calculation. When I reached my wort volume, the remaining OG in the mash tun was 1.008, which was the right time to stop.
